The Bishop of the Diocese Northeastern Caribbean and Aruba, the Right Reverend Errol Brooks, and Mrs. Brooks were hosts this week at St. Mary’s Rectory to the Reverend John Schild, a Parish Priest in the Diocese of St. Albans in England. He is also serving with the World Office of the Church of England building companionship links with other parts of the Anglican community. “My responsibility has been to build up links with the Province of the West Indies and, in particular, with the Diocese of the Northeastern Caribbean and Aruba as well as with the Dioceses of Jamaica, the Windward Islands, Guyana and Belize,” he said.

Anguillian Dental Surgeon, Dr. Lindell Brooks, a 1984 graduate of Maharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee, and a staff member there from that year, is to further his studies in July this year. In addition to his work at the school, he has been operating a private practice over the years in general dentistry from implants to preventive care.

Many relatives, friends and other Anguillians travelled to St. Kitts late last week for the funeral of Dr. Clarence Lloyd on Friday, February 22. The 77-year-old Anguillian Eye Specialist, who was widely loved, admired and respected, died on February 15 at a time when he was still a very active and outgoing personality.
