Rasta Pasta from The Overlook

Chef Shamash of The Overlook on backstreet in South Hill shares his famous Rasta Pasta. Stop by and join them for lunch or dinner. The Overlook aside from having a wonderful variety of spicy Caribbean delights also has a magnificent view of Road Bay and Sandy Ground harbour.
Shamash Garlic Shrimp Pasta
Ingredients:

2 cups broccoli florets

3/4 cup olive oil
-
2 cups mushrooms
-
1 pound shrimp, cooked
-
4 cloves garlic, chopped fine

1/4 cup green onion, chopped
-
1 teaspoon lemon rind grated

salt and pepper
-
10 oz. linguine, cooked and buttered
-
1/2 cup romano cheese, grated
Prepare:
Saute all the ingredients in well heated oil until tender but not over done.
Place on top of the linguine and top with romano cheese.
Note: This is a simple to prepare dish that takes only the time to chop the veggies and cook the pasta.
