The area around the island has many fishing opportunites. Along the coast are bottom fishing areas that are fairly shallow. This extends to the reefs out to Seal Island and the Prickley Pear Cays. Beyond Sombrero is where the deep sea fishing occurs. There is also fishing around Scrub, Little Scrub and Anguillita.
