Windball Cricket Tournament Begins October 1


There is a considerable amount of excitement among participating teams, and the general public, with the start of the Windball Cricket Tournament on Sunday, October 1.

The tournament will commence at the Ronald Webster Park at 8.30 a.m. with the Clarence Fleming-Rogers Knockout competition.

The matches will be played throughout the island on Sundays between both male and female teams and will continue until some time next year.

Windball cricket is a fast-developing sport in Anguilla, attracting much sponsorship by the business community and is keenly followed by many persons.

Meanwhile, organisers of the tournament have received a number of wind balls from the Anguilla Tennis Academy and other sources.
