As the 2006 male and female wind ball cricket tournament commenced on Sunday 1st October, the young men and women of the Blowing Point community proudly displayed their green and gold uniforms sponsored by Temenos St.Regis Resort & Golf Course. Several members of both cricket teams and senior managers of the sales department gathered at the entrance to the world class Golf Course on Saturday morning to showcase their new sport gear.

Therefore, it is with great pleasure that we decided to sponsor the male and female wind ball cricket teams from the village of Blowing Point,” commented Mr. John Klemish, Director of Marketing & Sales. The male cricket team is the current defending champion and also holds the record for winning the tournament seven times in thirteen years. The female team was tournament champion several years ago as well. Captains, Mr. Leon Lake and Ms. Avril Romney, respectively, both promised to continue to do their best and to wear their uniforms with pride.
