The 2007 Caribbean Commercial Bank sponsored 35 over cricket season commenced on April 14th 2007 at the Ronald Webster’s Park with an exciting match between Cap Juluca and the Blue Jays of the Farrington. Cap Juluca batted first, with the excellent batting of Omari Banks and Rhon Rogers earning the team 64 runs and 28 runs respectively. By the end of the match the team was able to amass 142 runs from 20 overs.

Leblanc and Keith Carty of the Blue Jays scored a commendable 74 runs not out and 50 runs not out respectively, resulting in a total score for the team of 144 for 1 from 16 overs, making the Blue Jays the winners of the match. The team’s victory is due in part to the remarkable bowling of Terry Adams who bowled 6 overs, taking 5 wickets and Keith Carty who bowled 5 overs, taking 2 wickets.

The second match was between A.L.H.C.S and Cuisinart on Sunday, April 15th, 2007. It was won by A.L.H.C.S who were able to amass 114 runs for 2 from 18.3 overs with Chestney Hughes scoring 40 runs not out, R. Lake 19 and S. Rey scoring 17. Cuisinart made a total of 111 runs all out from 20 overs with Chaka Hodge scoring 31 runs, Delano Mussington scoring 17 runs and Jeffery Adams scoring 9.
The upcoming matches are Masters vs. Police on Saturday April 21st, 2007 and A.L.H.C.S vs the Blue Jays on Sunday April 22nd, 2007.
