Animals on Anguilla

Anguilla has a large variety of wildlife and domestic animals on land. All must be adaptable to heat and the lack of water. Some, like the island goats are visable all the time but others such as the scorpion hide under rocks in the desolate parts of the island and are hard to find. Anguilla Animals

Because of the harsh conditions on Anguilla it is a wonder that any animal life can live here. The fact is many animals have adapted to the climate and lack of water and find the island an excellent place to live.
