Restaurant Dress Code

Most restaurants request "casual elegant" attire in the evening. This highly ambiguous phrase often appears to mean different things to different people.
Suffice to say that none of the restaurants on Anguilla demand a jacket or tie and only the principal dining rooms of CuisinArt and the Malliouhana require long trousers for gentlemen.
For visitors the uniform of choice tends to be dress shorts or casual slacks with a collared shirt for men and simple dresses or shorts with a blouse for women. Obviously, if you wish to dress up a bit more you are always welcome to do so.
Beachwear is only appropriate at the beach during the day.
